Copying and safety limits

Verification helps, but independent backups and device checks still matter.

English is the reference version. Translations help you read these documents; mandatory local rights always apply.

What verification means

DuckCarry hashes received files and reads the destination back to check its bytes. A verified copy is evidence about the bytes checked at that time, not a guarantee against later drive failure, filesystem limitations, malware or power loss. Maintain independent backups and inspect representative files.

Conversions and device differences

H.264 MP4 is a separate lossy derivative; the exact video source is retained. Photo conversion depends on installed system codecs. Cloud-only items may require downloading on the phone first. Physical acceptance is still pending for some phones, cameras and operating-system versions. No speed, recovery, universal compatibility or legal compliance guarantee is made. Mandatory rights are unaffected.
